Tomi Lahren And Trevor Noah Debated On The “Daily Show” And It Was HEATED
Tomi Lahren, the 24-year-old conservative talk show host/sexpot that liberals love to hate, took a huge risk on Wednesday by joining Trevor Noah on the Daily Show. Brave? No. Entertaining as hell? Oh yeah.
Lahren is known for her hot takes on mundane topics like Colin Kaepernick, Black Lives Matter, Donald Trump — you know, issues that people rarely get riled up about. She’s also known for being hot. It’s that potent mix that’s gotten her 3.5 million+ Facebook likes, with some of her videos having even more views.
So when the talk show host came on the other talk show host’s show to talk about sensitive topics that people like to talk about, you knew people were going to be talking about it.
If you watch closely, you can see Noah slowly considering the consequences of him reaching over the table and choking her out.
At the core, this is a fantastic debate. It’s totally obvious and completely understandable that they have vastly differing views. But they debated the shit out of them. Trevor challenged Tomi, and Tomi challenged Trevor.
Granted, I found Lahren’s singing of “Bill’s busy” at the end creepy as shit and you should also probably never utter the sentence “what did the KKK do?” but she held her own in a hostile environment. That’s like traveling to The Swamp and putting up 40 points. That’s like heading to Bryant-Denny Stadium and only losing by a field goal. That’s like going to central Missouri and suppressing your urge to protest. That’s a W..

10/10 would
8 years ago at 1:51 pmI really hate both of them, but I will say that I can respect Noah bringing a person with such differing views on his show, nice to see liberals in the media expanding outside of their bubble.
8 years ago at 2:15 pmI mean he brought her on to get booed
8 years ago at 9:20 pmBut that should be expected. Every news station with the exception of those idiots at Fox News is liberal now, and I would hope that someone smart enough to formulate a strong opinion on today’s politics would ignore the ignorant booing.
8 years ago at 9:23 pmThey’re both partisan hacks, as are their audiences. The obnoxious booing/cheering is expected. The point is that it’s nice to see a legitimate debate in the mainstream media.
8 years ago at 11:54 pmHe brought her on because he thought she was dumb and that he would destroy her. Plus, win or lose (most of his blind followers are convinced he dominated), he probably got killer ratings
8 years ago at 11:50 amLiberals never learn. They only double down.
8 years ago at 2:19 pmThe one thing all the librards are saying so far that has been right about this interview is that she came across as angry and trying to get her way while he came scores as polite and non confrontational. She likes to run her mouth a lot on topics but doesn’t seem to have a lot of solutions other than “they need to shut the fuck up”. 12/10 would pee tho
8 years ago at 2:33 pmIt’s funny also that many of his followers are liberal feminists and one of their many arguments that the world is sexist is that whenever a woman gets passionate, people always dismiss them with “why are you so angry? You should smile more.” Interesting that many of them are now saying that to Tomi.
8 years ago at 11:52 amAnybody else notice that he can’t look at her throughout most of this? He’s genuinely intimidated.
8 years ago at 3:07 pmYou mean during the first two minutes or so while he’s introducing her to the audience?
8 years ago at 11:52 amI feel like Tomi Lahren is just a shitty knock off of Megan Kelly, except she’s nowhere near as hot, nowhere near as talented, and is paid pretty much just to talk shit, which is the dream job of any sorority girl.
Oh, and Megyn has a 20 year handicap on her.
8 years ago at 3:38 pm1. These crowd members are sheep.
8 years ago at 3:54 pm2. Trevor makes excuses and changes the subject when he know he can’t defend against facts.
3. Tomi’s opening clip got me slightly aroused. I thought she did a great job of keeping her composure and avoided traps that Trevor tried to lead her into.
4. I can’t STAND Trevor’s narsasistic attitude. Classic, play the victim role on any topic that he doesn’t agree with and turn the tables making Tomi out to be the bad, rasist person everytime he doesn’t agree with her.
5. I’m sick of people not being able to not make progress on issues bc a viewpoint differs from theirs, even if it’s right.
6. I’m glad Trump is in the office for the fact that he’s not a pussy. Toughen up people and stop pouting. Democracy has spoken.
6. He actually is a pussy, haven’t you heard him Bitch and moan about how the media is so unfair to him, yet they gave him something ridiculous like $30 million in free advertising?
8 years ago at 6:00 pmI wouldn’t really call this a debate. It was more Noah asking questions and Lahren not having any real answers. Like seriously, the part at the end when she literally was asked 5 times “you keep saying people shouldn’t protest this way, how should they protest?” and couldn’t come up with an answer…not a good look. Anyone with the smallest knowledge of US history could say “like MLK did.” She’s super hot a good at yelling typical conservative talking points when she’s prepared on her show, but she’s obviously not very bright/good at this kind of thing unprepared.
8 years ago at 4:33 pmI think some of ya’ll are being unfair. She seems like a pretty smart girl, just comes across as a little psycho. Obviously Trevor Noah had home field advantage so yes it made him look like he was right.
8 years ago at 5:24 pmI really want her to smack me around and yell at me
