10. Notre Dame
Yes, I know Notre Dame has been a shitty program for years, and South Bend is nothing to get excited about. Even the weather sucks. So, why would anyone want to tailgate for a shitty program in a shitty town, right? Wrong. The place is special. It’s just fucking special. Any college football enthusiast owes himself a man trip to Notre Dame on gameday. Keep in mind, however, this trip is much more about tradition and history than it is about good eating, good looking women, keg stands and drunken conversation. Get there early, walk the campus, visit Touchdown Jesus and talk to the thousands of die-hard loyal fans who show up every Saturday no matter how poorly the Fighting Irish are playing.
As someone from California, everyone EVERYONE (even UCLA students) agree that USC has a FAR better game day experience than UCLA. UCLA campus is too far away from the Rose Bowl and that is a major problem for most of the students. USC- the whole campus is a giant party throughout the entire day. Just saying, if there was a socal schoo on the list, it should be USC.

13 years ago at 5:57 pm^^This. USC may be located in the middle of ape-ville but it’s pretty well known that they have serious tailgating on their campus. UCLA is like 30 miles from the Rose Bowl and their football team sucks, so nobody goes to the games except a few die hard alumni and some random LA cholos who watch college ball because there’s no NFL team there. Not saying you should include ANY California schools on this list, but if you have to include one it should be USC, not UCLA.

The only part of Texas that resembles a desert is the extreme western portion of the state near El Paso, which isn’t really Texas anymore. It’s many hours from the main population center of the state, which is obviously in the eastern portion. The term “UTjr” was cetainly uncalled for, you have to realize that the website is based in Austin. While your school may have been founded first, the University of Texas has overshadowed the University of Tennesse in many ways since it’s establishment. No disrespect, because the University of Tennessee is a fine institution.
