Paul is dramatically more fiscally conservative than Romney, Obama, and any of the other potential “Republican” candidates. The only significant difference between Romney and Obama is their stance on healthcare, and the only reason why Romney is opposed to ObamaCare is because Obama is for it.
Paul has a flawed foreign policy approach, and simply being a fiscal conservative doesn’t make you a true conservative. Libertarianism itself is hard to argue on paper, but in practice it cannot work in orthodox form. The word “pragmatism” is foreign to Paulites. His Audit the Fed Bill is extremely dangerous and extended Congressional power over monetary policy. If you believe Romney and Obama are the same guy, I don’t have the time to respond to that.
The sad reality is that Obama is running his campaign by attacking exactly these things about Romney. Obama cannot run on his record and Obama is just trying to paint Romney as “rich and out of touch with middle class” instead of running on which man would have better and more successful policies.

We have similar voting habits. I support Paul but when it comes to making sure Obama doesn’t win my vote goes to Romney (and yes, v , I do know that delegates win elections)
