Yeah making it ourselves does not in any way preclude this from being mainstream. We have complete creative control and a budget comparable to what we would’ve had anyway. Distribution is the key, really.
This is the important point to make. Look at any major Oscar movie, even ones with huge A-list stars in them. Most were made by a smaller production company, on the creator/director/writer’s terms, and then sold-off to a major studio for distribution. That’s the key here, as Bacon says. We aren’t making an indie, homemade movie. We just aren’t letting liberal Hollywood dictate what is “frat”.
I’m still waiting on Frat Cops 3: Hazement Day- Our favorite heroes of Frat Cops team #69 have just been promoted to FRAT SWAT. Their mission: haze the entire GDI audience of a Nickelback concert. Spoiler alert (Officer Will Harris turns out to be a double agent named Sasha, Bacon murders him with a katana, Pulp Fiction post rape style).
Bacon will indeed go “midevil” on on hundreds of pot smoking Canadian hipsters but will eventually run out of ammo and will be cornered by that succubus Avril Lavigne. He must then ritually sacrifice his 6 year old sperry’s to the Devil (played by Nick Saban) to summon back up in the form of Dick Cheney. Cheney then goes on a coke fueled 12 gauge killing spree and literally removes Chad Krougers spine with sniper support from Dorn. Paul Ryan awards the FRAT COPS a medal and a massive rager commences.

13 years ago at 11:14 am^sounds like they didn’t get any studios to pick it up so they lied about wanting to be an Indy film
13 years ago at 11:53 amBecause having a studio take over and make it like an American Pie movie sounds so much better.
