Total Frat Movie: A Message From The Founders
A Personal Message to Our Supporters
Today Total Frat Move is launching an ambitious new project, and we wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about it and ourselves. We’re longtime friends and fraternity brothers, and graduating from college obviously didn’t dampen our appreciation of fraternity humor.
In 2010, we had the idea for TotalFratMove.com, a website that would allow you to submit your total frat moves, featuring a genre of comedy that had never been represented in a mainstream way. We knew this humor existed in Greek systems across the country, and we wanted to do our best to capture that unique voice and give you an authentic representation of the hilarious underground comedy that has been cultivated within the Greek community over more than a century.
The two of us launched this site with a series of 30 posts. The response from readers was incredible, and thanks to your support the site has grown into what it is today.
Every day we feature material you submit, and your consistent devotion to the site is what keeps it growing. It is thrilling for us to hear from people who appreciate the website, or overhear people referring to TFM in everyday conversation.
The success of the site helped us secure a deal to publish our first book, Total Frat Move. The book was released in January and within a week it reached #7 on the New York Times Best Seller list. This is a monumental achievement and it couldn’t have happened without your support.
We feel that making a film, TOTAL FRAT MOVIE, is the next logical step for us to take, and we are asking you to support it. We feel a tremendous responsibility to make a film that lives up to the standards that we uphold at TFM. We also want to make sure that the movie has the same voice that you know from the website and the book, and refuse to let that voice be watered down by a big Hollywood studio. Two years ago we teamed up with a group of independent producers to begin laying the groundwork for this project, and now that vision is becoming a reality.
As our fans, you contribute content to Total Frat Move daily, and now we want you to be a part of the movie-making process. By supporting the project on Indiegogo you can receive a chance to be part of the movie (you can audition for a role or even name a character in it), exclusive Total Frat Movie merchandise and behind the scenes access to the production. We need you to rally up your friends and family and help us spread the word about this project. The funds we raise will go into the film’s budget and help make the next great fraternity comedy – TOTAL FRAT MOVIE.
Please take a moment to check out and support our campaign on Indiegogo HERE.
Thank you,
Madison and Ryan

12 years ago at 9:01 pmJust read the synopsis of the movie on indiegogo.com. The only problem with the plot is that everyone knows how Fraternities really deal with this issue. Nationals will come into town and Rush 100 dudes and initiate them in the span of a week to get numbers.
12 years ago at 4:22 pmThis will have to be one of those movies that will have to be released directly to DVD because no theater will have it.
