Train Kick Selfie Guy Could Make A Fortune For Getting Kicked In His Stupid Face

A few weeks ago, a hipster on a tour through Peru got himself kicked in the face by a PeruRail train conductor while taking a selfie.

The world laughed, either because hipsters are terrible and we like to see them get kicked in the face, or because it’s not every day you see a guy get train-kicked. I mean, it sounds like something a desperate Mortal Kombat designer would add to avoid getting his pink slip for a lack of brutal creativity.

However, in a sad twist of fate for those of us who advocate not one step back against the hipster menace, Jared Michael Frank is apparently set to make a killing off of that swift kick to the skull. The Canadian-born lover of all things flannel and Instagram is in talks with a number of companies to license the video out for anywhere between $25,000 and $300,000, according to Gawker.

He should probably send some of that money to the conductor, considering the guy kind of saved his life. If you look at the below frame captured and uploaded to Imgur, you can see pretty clearly that the kick was actually intended to keep the train itself from colliding with his head.

Canadian hipsters: making money off of your attempts to save them from impending doom. Typical.
