Trump’s Personal Assistant Fired For Being A Degenerate Gambler

From The Washington Post:

President Trump’s personal assistant, John McEntee, lost his White House job this week because an investigation found he was a frequent gambler whose habit posed a security risk, according to two people familiar with his departure

Really, you fired Trump’s assistant for this? The guy was shown the door because he liked to get in on a little action? In this administration? Getting soft, White House. Getting real soft.

A background investigation found that McEntee bet tens of thousands of dollars at a time, making him unsuitable for a sensitive position close to the president, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. There was no indication his gambling was illegal, but there was concern that the 27-year-old could be vulnerable to outside influence, the person said.

Trump’s homeboy can essentially inside trade selling all the steel stock known to man right before a tariff goes in effect, but making a little extra dough from a Wednesday night 1st quarter Warriors line makes you “unsuitable” for an assistant position? Game is the game, I guess. Oval office knowledge doesn’t really do much in Vegas, though.

“Yeah, what kind of odds can I get on Tillerson being fired over Twitter?”

“How about nuclear war with North Korea in during the 2018 season?”

“What about trifectas? Really? Cool. Give me two units on Donald Jr. getting divorced, the National Security Advisor not lasting the end of the week, and Stormy Daniels breaking her non-disclosure agreement.”

If any president was okay with a little gambling here and there, you’d think it’d be the guy who used to practically own (and eventually murdered) Atlantic City.

Who’d have thought? Most of his choices have been perfect fits for their job.

He was betting “tens of thousands of dollars at a time”? What a loser. I’ll bet a hundo grand on one spin of the roulette wheel. And Donny still calls me every Monday morning asking for advice.
