Twitter Idiots Bully The Wrong Man Following Brazil’s Own Goal In Opening Game

Being an American, I cannot relate to the rioting, diehard, soccer fans who are so prevalent in countries outside of North America. Quite honestly, I don’t even really understand soccer. However, I will divert a slight amount of my limited attention to soccer in order to watch the inevitable overreactions of players and fans alike.

For those of you out of the loop, Croatia played Brazil yesterday in the opening game of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Not far into the game, Brazil shit the bed and gave Croatia the early lead, thanks to a disastrous chain of events that led to Brazilian player Marcelo scoring an own goal.

The always rambunctious soccer idiots couldn’t tolerate this, so they took to Twitter to show their displeasure regarding Marcelo’s fuck up. Only problem was, they were disparaging the wrong guy. Instead of tweeting at the Brazilian soccer player, the morons were giving a U.K.-based model an endless barrage of profanity and hatred.

There is very little to be confused about here. They are obviously two very different men.

Despite the very public screw up, I highly doubt the overly-dramatic soccer fans will put in much more research on their target the next time something goes awry.
