Mizzou Delta Chi Tragically Dies In Motorcycle Accident
The University of Missouri lost a good man just before Labor Day weekend. On Friday, Tyler Romaker, a member of Delta Chi, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident near campus.
From Columbia Missourian:
Tyler Romaker, 22, was riding a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle through the intersection of Stadium and U.S. 63 shortly after noon when he crashed into the side of a 2004 Dodge Dakota, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
…
Romaker, from Warrenton, Missouri, was a U.S. Army ROTC cadet, a member of Delta Chi fraternity and played in Marching Mizzou.
Plain and simple: The dude was a badass.
Tyler was a guy who clearly loved his country, took pride in his school, and was the best brother a fraternity could ask for. You can’t wish for a better person than that.
Tyler wasn’t just some student — he was the kind of student everyone should strive to be.
Tyler’s family and fraternity have received a massive outpouring of support from the Mizzou community. While fraternities on campus might have their differences and occasional street fights, they always seem to come together when something like this happens.
Rest in peace, Tyler. You’ll be sorely missed..
