U.S. Central Command’s Twitter Hacked By ISIS, How The Fuck Could This Happen?
This morning, shortly after 12:30 EST, @CENTCOM — the United States’ Central Command’s Twitter handle — went rogue and started spewing out jihadist-affiliated messages, along with what appeared to be privileged information pertaining to U.S. military officials and the nuclear programs of countries far from our allies. Most notably, CENTCOM’s theater of operation includes the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, with a strong involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq.
It was immediately apparent that the cyber attack was affiliated with ISIS, but the level of involvement is obviously still unknown.
Following the initial tweeted statement, the account’s avatar was changed to an image of a purported ISIS jihadist, paired with the word “CyberCaliphate” and the statement “i love you isis.” For the next 30 minutes until the account was suspended and rendered inaccessible, it proceeded to tweet out multiple repositories of contact information for high level military officials and pictures depicting nuclear programs and response scenarios for both China and North Korea.
Despite having the information and associated pictures privy, having screenshot them briefly before the account was suspended, we can only share these tidbits with you in the interest of national security.
While hacking a Twitter account might be a pretty easy feat for a hacker with little skill, it’s scary that the information disseminated via CENTCOM’s hacked account appears to have come from within the government’s servers. The nuclear information which was shared purports that Pentagon networks were the target.
As we all became aware of after the hacks into Sony Pictures, cybercrime is the leading choice for the radicalized 21st century criminal, and the stuff is no laughing matter.
Fuck (cyber)terrorism, and let’s get John McClane on the horn ASAP to teach these jihading morons a much overdue lesson..

What makes this even worse is that Barack Hussaine Barry Soetero was giving a speech telling how prepared we were for cyber warfare/defense.
