Which is baffling because Lander is in a shithole that is Greenwood, SC and their academic standards are extremely low.

The most depressing collection of buildings you’ve ever seen. Most are decaying or collapsed. They should probably loosen their standards.

Congratulations to the students of Curtis Institute of Music on being accepted to the most selective school in the nation, now go and get those jobs!

If they go to that school they likely will make tons of money in professional orchestras and such. Pretty boring but hey, they can make average $31.74 an hour or anywhere from 70k to a little over 100k. It’s those damn art majors that get nowhere.

Can’t knock the music/performing arts nerds for working hard. It takes a lot of dedication to aspire to a nobody trying to survive in NYC.

Hahahahaha this list is pretty inaccurate. University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is 100% not the “most selective” – I think the only admissions requirement is that you be black and have a pulse. They have the lowest acceptance rate because they have the fewest people apply there.

You seem to have a pretty poor grasp of what’s going on here. “Most selective” is the same thing as “lowest acceptance rate.” No one is trying to say that they’re the best schools in the state, if you can even quantify that kind of thing. And if you have any questions about the fundamental meaning of an acceptance rate, refer to the comment above.

Take a lap and quit making Arkansas look bad. We aren’t all fools incapable of reading comprehension, just ArkansasFratDaddy is.

They should make one with least selective colleges by state instead, that would be much more interesting to me.

I’m not sure about most of those colleges, but I do know that Adventist University in Florida had a 96% acceptance rate in 2010. Even FSU is more selective.

This map got shot to shit when they chose a for-profit college as being the “most selective” school in a state. Although….. at the same time it may be the most selective college in the state of Arizona.
