Rich people stay rich because they know how to save money and buy stuff when it’s reasonable to do so. I went to Brooks Brothers today and got 4 non irons extremely cheap..and it wasn’t like I was fighting a crowd of people to get to them. I’d say it was worth it.
It’s called ‘opportunity cost’, geed. Look it up. The long-term expected value of me spending Black Friday socializing with important family friends is a hell of a lot greater than spending it in line at Wal Mart so I can save $100 on a fucking TV.
Wealthy people remain wealthy because of intelligent investments and excellent money management, not by going out at 4am to buy some shirts. I’m happy for you and your new addition of shirts, and its nice that companies drop their prices so you could finally afford some Brooks Brothers shirts. Enjoy your out of season clothing, geed, I’ll be getting fitted for the upcoming spring wear next week.
People who save money, make money. The people who are unwilling to save money aren’t making the money themselves, good luck ‘taking over the business’ with that work ethic.
To those of you hating. My parents make me work for my own stuff so that I will appreciate it more. Could I hit up mom and dad to go buy me stuff? Absolutely. However, I would rather work for everything and make something of myself just like my father did. Also, to those of you that say I waited in line at 4am, I was actually there at 10pm.
Should you ever run for a political office, you should retain this attitude and mantra. I believe it would serve you well to remind everyone around you how much better you are than them.
People, being a gentleman is never having to brag that you are, or how wealthy you are, or how more fortunate your life is in general. Posts like this one here just make you sound like an arrogant, pretentious, ostentatious and loathsome prick, not anyone you’d like to consider a friend, and no one I would like to consider a Brother. Fraternity men were always meant to be an example of what a man should be, not be made an example of what one ought not be.
Look at this guy with his big words. The only prick here is you. Preaching about how we shouldn’t act like we’re better, then proclaiming to be better? Stop bloviating, its obvious how full of yourself you are. You are worse than me. At least I own up to what I am. You’re trying to hide behind this “Fraternity Men” facade. I understand that there are less fortunate people out there, but a “Fraternity Man” doesn’t subject himself to waiting in a mob of insane people just to buy an Xbox. Stop being a self-righteous prick.
Never in my post did I claim to be better than anyone, ever. Utilizing different vocabulary from others doesn’t profess self-righteousness.However your original post, along with your comment above “Enjoy your out of season clothing, geed, I’ll be getting fitted for the upcoming spring wear next week,” makes it clear that you do.
I would continue this argument but it is clear that your rebuttal, like a cornered wild animal, is one made out of defensive accusations after realizing the accuracy of my statement and how big of a raging douchebag you are for looking down on people who want to go out and take advantage of savings. I wasn’t trying to be self-righteous, I was telling your uppity and presumptuous ass to go fuck yourself.
You are a dumbass.
