UGA Recruiting Reporter Says Fans Should Thank SAE For Keeping Five-Star QB Jacob Eason Committed
One of the main reasons UGA fans wanted to keep Mark Richt in charge of the Georgia football program was his relationship with five-star quarterback and Georgia commit Jacob Eason. Eason, one of the most highly touted recruits of 2016, was already being viewed as the savior of the Bulldogs program.
But when Mark Richt was fired two weeks ago, it looked like the prize quarterback was reopening his recruitment. Not long after, Eason made a trip to Gainesville to visit the Florida Gators program, and UGA feared it had lost its most important recruit since Highland Park’s Matt Stafford back in 2006.
Fast forward to this morning, and Eason has recommitted himself to UGA. The QB will enroll early and have a shot at starting in the season opener against North Carolina.
So, why the sudden change in heart for Eason during this whirlwind of a recruiting process? Well, a lot of different things fell into place, but one recruiting analyst says fans should thank the UGA SAEs for keeping Eason on board.
#UGA fans need to thank @Bigrank38, @abynum55, @BenCleveland74 and the SAE folks https://t.co/sJSmG9VPah

An inside source tells me: “I’m pretty sure [Eason] left the [SAE] party after 30 girls asked to have sex with him.” Nice.
Fraternities play host to recruits all the time. I remember back in my day hanging with a superstar running back at a Texas fraternity house who committed to the program less than a week later. Fraternities are the unsung heroes of the recruiting process. Coaches essentially drop off these guys on the front step and make sure they are shown a good time. It’s a mutually beneficial process.
With tons of questions surrounding the future of UGA football and new head coach Kirby Smart, it was none other than the UGA SAEs who helped keep the ship afloat during this trying recruiting period. Congrats, guys. Smart and the rest of his offensive staff owe you big time..

Laying the D on a recruiting visit is only an NCAA violation if she buys the birth control the next day
