I dont like cops, but I hate cop killers even more. Georgia staying strong and doing the right thing. TFM.

I can’t believe this actually got posted…there was still reasonable doubt should have never been executed. I cannot believe someone higher up did not think, “Hey wait a second, what the fuck are we doing.”

A jury of his peers said there wasn’t a reasonable doubt. So what did CNN tell you to help form your opinion?

  2. He’s been on death row for 22 years. He has appealed multiple times and been denied. He got what was coming. You believe what you want and I’ll do the same. He’s dead, I’m not a prosecutor and you are not a lawyer and non of us are the judge, so why are we concerned? Shit happens. Get over it.

Exactly^ who are we to give our bullshit unaccredited opinions. It’s not like we could have jumped in and saved him

I totally agree. No one should ever concern themselves with injustice except officials and no one should question those officials; that’s why the founding fathers were so terrible. Also, someone being executed in a disgrace to Anglo-Saxon law is just some “shit [that] happens.” And I’m sure that you would feel that same way if you were about to be executed on shitty evidence and no one helped.

I think he’s saying it won’t keep him not I for that matter from drinking tonight and not giving a shit. This case isn’t a predecessor for a French Revolution like ‘Terror’ to happen. He may be innocent but it’s not worth worrying about. If I was him, guilty or not guilty, I would be pissed. Only God knows and his soul will be where it belongs: Either in Heaven and away from prison or Hell and wishing he was back.

When conservative lawyers like Bob Barr make public statements about there being a lack of evidence, things should probably be reconsidered.

the biggest problem with this happening is that jesse jackson and al sharpton will turn this into a hate crime. if you wanna execute anyone those are your guys

Al Sharpton was there in Jackson. Of course this is a hate crime. He killed a white man, and now he is being executed. It is okay for him to shoot one man in the face, pistol whip another, rob a store, then as this off duty police officer tried to intervene, he was shot 3 times. One in the head as this Davis was standing over him. He is gone. This case has been reviewed by a dozen judges and they all feel the same. Justice has been served. God Bless America.

The only thing our justice system proved to us last night is that Casey Anthony should have been black.

Former Republican Congressman and Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr wrote that he is “a strong believer in the death penalty as an appropriate and just punishment,” but that the proper level of fairness and accuracy required for the ultimate punishment has not been met in Davis’s case.

Read this and think about it. Also, Obama is to blame for not intervening when he could of.

    1. Obama is to blame? I’m no fan of Obama but thats a little ridiculous. Blaming Obama is the weakest argument to make. May as well blame it on “racial issues” like everyone else is trying to do. He was black cop was white which makes this a hate crime (sarcasm). Don’t make this into a political issue. Governor Deal had the say so and he choose not to act, his decision.

What Georgia did was unacceptable. They’re facing a $1.5 billion deficit next year and can’t afford to be spending thousands of dollars on lethal injection. Trees are freely available and a length of rope only costs a few bucks.
