Little Spike Albrecht scored early and often during last night’s thrilling national championship game against Louisville. Now, after the dust has settled in a disappointing Michigan loss, Spike is still trying to score.

God, that was so smooth, as smooth as his stroke from beyond the arc. “Hope to see you again.” Beautiful. Pay attention, guys. He “hopes” to see her. No pressure. No formalities. No overzealousness. He just hopes to run into her, like perhaps at the grocery store or post office, and that’s when he’ll ask her out for some dinner and some sex. It’s not rocket surgery, guys.

Albrecht got off to a blazing start, scoring 17 first half points on 6-7 shooting (4-4 from three-point line), but he lost his sizzle in the second half. So did the rest of the Wolverines. Now we know why…
