Unbelievably Nice Police Officer Issues Bizarre Notice Of Arrest To Loyola University Chicago Student

Cops and college kids go together like Sour Patch Kids and cancer; it’s just not a good fit. Typically, the relationship starts with an angry conversation and ends at the precinct. In fact, in the history of college, it’s probably possible to count the number of pleasurable encounters with law enforcement on one hand. That’s what makes the following “notice of arrest” so awesome. It’s a cool cop who wants to actually fix the situation and doesn’t get a hard on for teenagers crying.

Caitlyn,
Hey girl! Hope you are doing well!…I need you to call me ASAP about a warrant you have out for your arrest….I am sure you are off at college, so call me and let me get this straight for you…
Regards,
[Redacted]

Caitlyn, a freshman at Loyola University Chicago, apparently got in typical college kid trouble while back home in Dallas. She received this email from a local police officer, which she thought was a joke at first, while enjoying her first semester of school 926 miles away in Illinois. She described the officer as, not kidding, a super nice and awesome guy who likes to joke around a lot.

So, here it is, the first piece of substantial evidence that the police aren’t entirely polluted with college hating douchebags. We’d like to honor this unnamed cop as the official TFM Police Officer of the Month, a prestigious award I literally just made up just now. Keep doing you, unnamed funny policeman; hopefully the other officers will start taking notice.

As a man with person knowledge of the guy (if its the same officer ramsey from a couple years ago), he’s a damn good guy and wouldn’t do that.

Any officer that wouldn’t smash a college chick, I can’t trust; probably isn’t a “damn good guy.”

“unnamed police officer” yet both his name, as well as his phone number, appear on the twitter picture?
