I do not have a trust fund, I am not related to W, and I currently drive a Camry as punishment for wrecking the Frathoe. Despite this, I still frat really, really hard. TFM.
I’m a reverse legacy myself. No Fraternity involvement on either side of my family. I’m the first to frat and I do it better than 90 percent of my pledge brothers. Frat on camry. Frat on.
Right there with you. Several in my extended family have been Greek, but neither of my parents were. I, probably along with most other people on here, have a purpose in school that doesn’t involve getting blasted every night of the week to have mediocre grades so that when I finish school I rely on my father’s name. I have to show that I am capable of being a hard working member of society. With that said, I still frat hard.. at all times. I’m glad we as the Greek community have finally been represented on this site as what we should all be – men that know how to be content with what we have at the time, but looking forward to even better. So to everyone that has taken the time to back Tony Bromo here, frat on, brothers.
I Bet 3/4 of the people that will talk shit about this post probably are in the same boat. Not everyone in a fraternity, in the South, has millions of dollars in their bank account. They have enough disposable income to let their son/daughter go greek. That’s something that GDI’s don’t have. This isn’t the 1800’s anymore, greek life isn’t strictly for the very rich.
TexasWallSits – One, maybe that were true if you were a bonesman, but let’s be real here. And also, with a name like TexasWallSits, it sounds like you take pride in the lightest form of hazing. Get back at me when your pledges have no skin on their elbows and trying to get lemon juice out of their eyes.
There isn’t an different tuition for my school if you don’t live in NY. It’s still over 50K a year. Worked my ass off to get here. Fratted my ass off when I got here. Don’t talk to me about paying more “in-state.” Maybe you should have set your sights a little higher. What are those two things that come from Texas again?
Because it doesn’t take ol’ southern money to afford VV, SoPro, Southern Tide, or S&B……and frat water. All it takes is a little hard work, which is TFM material. Some of us are attempting to start a TFM heritage of our own, which should be honored at least by a few. Unfortunately for most of us, we weren’t born into fortune 500 companies, but we’re fratting to the highest degree.
Fratting is about being a drunken retard, raging 7 days a week, waking up drunk, hazing pledges, slamming ho’s, walking around campus like you own it, starting the tailgate at 6am (or 4am if you go to Breakfast Club at Purdue), dressing like an assbag to home games, not remembering said home game, and still getting that BS/Masters in Engineering.
That my friend is how you frat in the North. Not dressing like some metrosexual cock-gargler, spending dads money on useless shit, or driving a foreign car.
ok, metrosexual cock-gargler was a little more than I meant to say, but regardless clothing is one of the least important things to fratting. Except jorts, cargos, and graphic tees. F that shit.
Cam bro go back to the fucking other side of the mason dixon line you god damn geed we may not all have souther money but if we don’t we certainly earn it andout frat the fuck out of you all goddamn seven days a week makers, jack, jim, and jose and all so fucking take your little affliction ass back to fucking the jersey shor we don’t like your kind round here. Frataster classic frat on sir… See you at this years Master’s another thing that this fuck from the shore of Jersey will never experience. God Damn Geed’s.
This is a true TFM. All the posts about old Southern money are great TFMs for your dads. Those of us who weren’t born into a Forbes 500 family are willing and able to frat just as hard as the rest, and we overcome adversity to do so.
Agreed. You can still frat hard and not be a millionaire. For everyone who has old money, how do you think you got old money? Someone had to earn money in the first place for your family. Someone had to start fresh, so why can’t a fratstar start fresh today? Could drive something other than a toyota though.
Frat on
14 years ago at 11:39 pmYou could have bought American. Just saying
14 years ago at 12:26 amNot supporting northern unions. Toyotas are still made in America, just not by union thugs.
14 years ago at 8:46 amIsn’t that part of the punishment? I mean, who really wants to drive a Camry?

Fratting is a shitshow, not a social setting.
