I do not have a trust fund, I am not related to W, and I currently drive a Camry as punishment for wrecking the Frathoe. Despite this, I still frat really, really hard. TFM.

One time I was invited to come to a social gathering. I was paid a handsome amount of money, and I bought a shotgun and a bottle of Tanqueray and showed those people the best fucking time they’ve ever seen.

It’s posers like Tony Bromo that contaminate the fraternity system well. Wealth separates the serious future leaders from the future mid-level cogs. Please go try really really hard to frat in your little club with only triple digit dues, and leave real fratting to the privileged few.

it’s posers like shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in…never who contaminate the fraternity system well. Douchebaggery separates the true scum from the fratstars with real leadership potential. Please go try really really hard to pretend that your dick is big enough to not have to overcompensate by bragging about how rich you are.

Real class is not having to brag about how classy you are. If your father never taught you that, then you clearly come from a classless, new money family.

Fraternity life is not some average joes gym/mighty duck feel good movie. Fraternity life is about being in elite company with fellow brothers of the established gentry. This company will rise with you to replace the existing aristocracy in a seemless turn-key operation. All the while, leaving the small people with nothing but the check and our discarded crumbs.

Wait, are you trying to say that I envy you? Bless your heart. I’m not sure anyone envies you, at all, actually. Almost everyone who has commented on this has shown support of this guy, but you and only a handful of others tried to tear him down because you for some reason think you’re better than he is. No one here wants to hear you trying to make yourself feel better and more special… Has that not been made clear by the responses you got to your post? How about you take some of your prized money and go buy yourself a decent personality.

Fraternities are not only for the richest of the rich. The ideals instilled upon us during our periods as pledges should make you realize that BROTHERHOOD is more important than how much money you have. Obviously if this person is fratting hard he has enough money to cover dues and more, thus has what you have in the fraternity. How can you justify calling tony bromo a poser when he just admitted his situation. For all you know he could be one of your brothers from another chapter. Putting down other fratstars is in essence NF.

I speak for all true fraternity men and women when I ask you to step away from your public school coming-of-age novel brainwash. Abandon your desperate attempts for acceptance into a world you will never belong. And welcome your future in upper-middle class paradise, devoid of any of the luxuries I take advantage of on a daily basis, with open arms.

Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in… never, you’re just making yourself look bad. We’re tired of reading your dumb comments. The trust fund you live off from is a welfare fund your parents set up for you because you are not making that money yourself. Please be honest with yourself and realize that you’re no better than the poor people you’re bashing.

First of all, my trust fund comes from my grandparents not my parents. Second, my trust fund does not endow until age 25 which is still several years away. In the meantime, I live a life beyond that of the above average fraternity man. I am able to do this because I am rich, I will stay rich, and my family will always be rich. Hence, my handle. I write these comments as a warning to not waste your life trying to keep up with me and the like. Instead, enjoy wallowing in your ignorance, languishing in your false since of reality. I feel like I owe it to you.

Shirtsleeve, bragging about your trust fund was tacky to begin with, but trying to back track and comment that your grandparents set it up or it doesn’t endow until you’re 25 is tackier. Just stop commenting. No girl on this website is going to offer to make you a sandwich because you’ve proven that you’re not worth our time.

sleveless, i’m going to go ahead and make the bold assumption (which is most likely true) that you are another one of these SEC frat stars who loves to go on and on about all the shit you have, the money you will inherit, fratting you do, and bitches you fuck, when in fact you are another SEC fratter who makes fratters everywhere look like ignorant, arrogant, overprivileged pricks.

      a) i was raised to never talk about the money my family has, to never boast, to work my ass off, and never expect to have anything handed to me. the mentality that you have to get on totalfratmove and talk about how rich and privileged you are, your trust fund (which by the way, i’m sure like the other 234235 trust funds mentioned on here is completely fictional, yet that is extremely beside the point), and how you will never have to worry about being poor or having to *gasp* work for once in your life, is so immature and tacky it hurts. Where I come from (which is the North, not in SEC country) this is a pretty common practice. It’s looked down upon to
      a) make shit up, because no one really gives a fuck about you
      b) boast about yourself, it’s narcissistic, rude, and trashy

oh, and while we’re on the subject. all you SEC frat-daddy’s that paint this bull-shit picture that everyone in SEC greek systems is a millionaire with a trust fund and matching vineyard vines shit and tie set: i’ve been to SEC schools, i have friends in SEC greek systems, and my brother was the president of his fraternity at an SEC school, and just like everywhere else in America there are only a few people who are that ridiculously loaded, the rest are anywhere from lower income to well off. And while on the subject of money let’s just talk about the poorest states in the United States (Southeastern region), how much lower the cost of living in these states is, and how poor the education systems in these states are.

An SEC education and made up trust fund aren’t going to get you much farther than your fraternity house, and while I love my fraternity, I also know there’s a whole wide world out there and the only way I can be successful in it is if I work hard, never quit, and am a humble, giving, and driven person.
