UNC Athletes Weren’t The Only Ones Exploiting Fake Classes, Fraternity Members Were All Over That Shit
Fraternity members at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill caught wind of athletes benefitting from fake classes, and just had to get in on that shit.
From Business Insider:
More than 50% of the students enrolled in the so-called “paper classes” were non-athletes — with many being referred through the campus’ fraternity system.
According to investigator Kenneth Wainstein’s report, the “paper courses” — which never met and only required one final paper — were “hardly a secret” on campus and predominantly spread by word-of-mouth among undergraduates.”
I don’t see what the problem is. These “classes” sound fucking perfect.
One of the largest referrers to these fake courses run by the African and Afro-American Studies department was UNC’s fraternity system.
According to the Wainstein report, “Over the course of ten years, there were 729 enrollments in the paper classes by members of fraternities (and some sorority sisters).”
If there’s a loophole out there, you’re damn right we are going to find it and exploit it. Good for the 729 of them that got in on the fun while it lasted..

Way to really put some thought and effort into this ‘article’. Five sentences later and you have contributed nothing. Even you could probably learn something from one of these “paper classes”. Go die.

11 years ago at 6:51 pmThat’s what pledges are for numbnuts
11 years ago at 8:12 pmThe “paper” they had to write for the class was supposed to be atleast 10 pages in length, however most ended up being a paragraph, for which they would still get an A or B+ grade.
11 years ago at 8:38 pmThis fact is not true, however, if you were a football player it is 100% true
11 years ago at 10:02 pmHalf of my classes could be considered paper courses.
11 years ago at 7:05 pm729 pledges wrote papers over the course of 10 years.
