Under Armour May Have A Problem With China's Newest Sportswear Line

Tingfei Long Sporting Goods Co. just launched a brand new sportswear line that’s sure to catch the eye of some folk here in America, mainly the execs over at Under Armour. Yes, the company’s new sportswear line? It’s called Uncle Martian. They even have a sweet logo.

Yeah… might be a problem for Under Armour.

China is out here trying to pull a fast one on the sports world. Under Armour will never notice the fact that the logo is the exact same. Uncle Martian didn’t even try to hide it, either. Change the bottom A to an M in the logo? Nah, think it really pops as an A. It’s so blantant you just have to tip your cap to them.

I’m not surprised that Uncle Martian came about. The odds that Under Armour and Uncle Martian gear is made in the same factory by the same children is over 50%. The only thing Uncle Martian is lacking is some good celebrity endorsements. Maybe they’ll sign Yao Ming, WC Liang (highest rated Chinese golfer), and Derrick Chung (the only Chinese-born player in the MLB system). Might have to switch my alliances.

My only question is: Who the fuck is Uncle Martian?

It’s actually a common occurrence to see Chinese knockoffs of not just American companies, but high end ones from around the globe, and they’re not even good knockoffs.
