You must be a GDI. Every Alabama fan I have met is far trashier than the Auburn fans I know. In fact, where I am from- the social elite are typically Auburn fans. I associate Auburn with money, and Alabama with the class of people you would find shopping for gameday attire at Wal-Mart.
Clearly you’ve never been to Alabama. Virtually every influential lawyer, businessman, and politician is a graduate of the University of Alabama. Auburn’s finest treat our AKC-registered bird dogs.
hmm, clearly you arent aware that Auburn graduates are some of the top businessmen, lawyers, doctors, etc. in the country. Glad you Alabama graduates can occupy a single state…be proud…hahaha
I’m not partial to either Alabama or Auburn, but I graduated from a small private school in the South where everyone’s parents had money and about 5 people from every class go to Auburn and no one goes to Alabama. None of them are legacies either it was just their choice to go there. So while I’m sure there’s wealthy people who go to Alabama too, I agree with LegacyFrat’s statement in that I associate the social elite and those with money to be from Auburn.
Frattorney, shut up. You are an idiot. I have read multiple posts where you just look completely dumb. You are bias, you use no facts but rather just your opinion, and clearly look quite pathetic. I have lived in Alabama for my entire life. There are trashy rednecks on both sides as well as those with money on both sides. Auburn has been known to have more class then Bama lately because of how arrogant Alabama fans have become in the last decade.
Says the man who includes a curse word in his school’s motto. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Actually scratch that because, if you’re an Auburn fan, I’m afraid to ask what you do to your mother with that mouth.
oh like you’ve never said a cuss word. AUBURN WON, bama go cry in the bar that you came from! And just because I’m an Auburn fan doesn’t mean I’m from Alabama… dumbfuck.
I was sitting in the first row right in front of the bama student section one of those bammers hit my 79 year old grandmother in the head with a flask thats real classy. who the hell drinks peach schnapps out of a flask any way.
“Far more classier”… we can continue this conversation when you learn to speak properly, but you probably still don’t know why that statement is incorrect. Roll tide!
Also, Marty McFrat, you asked a question instead of making a statement. Please revisit your choice of punctuation. Incidents like these make me question the validity of Auburn’s English program as well as their quarterback.
My state may be north of the Mason Dixon Line but it is 100 percent Republican. 28 states out of 50 are republican…Do you also notice frattorney at law the poorest states in the nation are in the south. The bottom 10 poorest states
Rank State Median Income
1 Mississippi $35,693
2 Arkansas $37,987
3 West Virginia $39,170
4 Tennessee $40,034
5 South Carolina $41,548
6 Montana $41,587
7 Kentucky $41,828
8 Alabama $42,144
9 North Carolina $42,337
10 Louisiana $42,423

We may not be from the south But we also take care of our own…when you become a big time attorney, we’ll see how philanthropic you are. Instead of bragging about big homes and yachts you might be rebuilding nations…that would be FaF…
Taxing my income to support some crackhead’s addiction? NF. The statistic you cite is used pretty often. What can I say? Cost of living is lower down here because we have more open land and a history of fewer immigrants cramming in.
In the time it took you to write all that unimportant information out, and in the time I wasted reading it, my father wrote my now 16 year old twin brothers checks for matching z71’s and then separate checks for the lift kits, tires, and all the other bells and whistles. They both have $30,000 a piece to spend. I go to Ole Miss, but we’re poor, right? Nothing good comes from above the Mason-Dixon Line except for Vineyard Vines and my fathers product.
im from oklahoma and therefore have no bias in this matter but bama playing “son of a preacher man” and “workin hard for the money” when cam comes out of the locker is definitely not classy. good lord if your region wasnt such a fertile recruiting ground for our football team i wish the south would just succede. no major metropolitan finance center. youre clothing style comes from democrat northeastern style. the south frats their asses off and i respect that but dont scream southern gentlemen when your rocking brooks brothers, marthas vineyard, and a navatimer piece
Ever heard of atlanta, houston, dallas, miami, tampa, or nashville? Lets not forget DC is technically below the mason-dixon line. Also, I wear perlis, coast, and southern tide, not vineyard vines and brooks brothers.
oh i hardly call a 28-27 game an “ass kicking”. Coming from U of A I can say that we definitely won the first half and Auburn won the second half. They were the better team in this game but without Fairley and Newton they would be nothing. Who can even say that Fairley isnt on steroids. There is no way that he could go from the player he was last season to the type of player he is now without something.
Overall, Alabama is a more well rounded team. They just cant seem to play an entire football game but I believe that those freshmen starters just need some time.
yeah but I think people are forgetting the fact that they were down 24 in the first place. That proves Alabama to be the better team, they just cant play an entire game.
All you’re saying is that Bama can’t play a whole game, but if they could then they would win. If Auburn played the first half they would have killed Bama. Neither team can play a whole game. But the half Auburn showed up for was better. This year they won. Get over it.
Interesting comment considering most of your fans are missing teeth and live in trailers. Not to mention you gave up a 21 point lead. Have fun at walmart bammers.
Again: lawyers, doctors, and businessmen (Alabama) against veterinarians and poor (non-landowning) farmers. That pretty much sums up this conversation. I’ll remember to throw in a small tip for you next time I visit the farmer’s market.
The point, Frattorney, is that the MAJORITY of Alabama alumni are trashy, broke nobodys who consider Wal-Mart a second home. Auburn is home to more money, and classier money at that.
The endowments indicate otherwise considering Alabama has over $100 million more than Auburn. I really have no idea what Alabama alumni you have met but my guess is that they are townies who have never set foot on our campus.
Really? Apparently you don’t attend AU because the majority of their students live in trailers! Why? Maybe because the town and school is too poor to actually invest in and build nice condos and apartments. Or it could be because no one cares enough to invest in an area they know nothing worth it will come out of. There aren’t really even that many houses to rent. Before you start ragging on Alabama students, alumni, and fans you should really take a look at your own surroundings. Sure there are some fans that jump on the bandwagon and those are the ones that are trashy, but the real fans have class, unlike some schools in the NCAA. Every team has these fans. We also don’t trash our campus with something one wipes their ass on.
I completely agree with frat-at-law. I went to Alabama and everyone I know and have met that went to Alabama are classy and successful. I know people from auburn too that I could say the same thing about. However auburn does have that reputation. I guess just like Alabama has theirs. But definitely not how you people have described. Trust me.
Auburn grads make more, on average, than Bama grads. You can look that up.
And from someone who attends Auburn: I haven’t met anyone who lives in a trailer. Nice try though.
Okay Dixie. This is funny because considering the sheer shitiness of Tuscaloosa outside of campus, it’s funny you have the nerve to say we live in trailers. Nobody I know lives in one and auburn is home to great golf courses and a lot of very very wealthy people. Shut the hell up.
