Went abroad this summer to gain an appreciation for other countries. Came back with a greater appreciation for my own. TFM.

Not studying abroad because you already know them pretty well without leaving the greatest country on Earth. TFM.

Yeah, thanks for basically summing up this already elementary level TFM, dumb fucking shit ass.

13 years ago at 7:56 pm
    2. He didn’t sum it up, this TFM implies that spending time abroad made him appreciate America more. His ^^ post implies that the large number of immigrants in our country gives him a good knowledge of various world cultures regardless. Pretty elementary, huh? Look who’s the “dumb fucking shit ass” now.

Mexican antibiotics have cured me of two cases of chlamydia. Thank you Mexico for the help. Thank you America for the good time

It’s true. Some of the most patriotic people are the ones who have had to spend time outside of America. It makes being here that much more enjoyable.

There were few things as a kid that made me more patriotic than leaving the country…to step back on our soil is nothing less than fucking sweet.

^^ yes and ^ yes. It makes you truly realize how great we have it in this country and that it truly is the greatest in the world.

Accurate. It took me leaving Texas for school to truly appreciate it coming back.

All of these^^^^ are true. Same thing when you come from a good hometown and go away to a university. Its all fun while but that return to home makes it that much sweeter.

Lived in Norway for three years (actually sweet) and Paris all last summer (aweful), but strip clubs in Montreal are what did it for me.

It’s definitely great to see other parts of the world (currently abroad myself) but it just makes me realize how much better the USA really is.

^ Nailed it. I didn’t know my regard for this country could increase until I saw the standard of living most of the world is born into

I’m working at an accounting firm in Ireland right now, and it makes me a little sick inside seeing the tax rates here. God bless capitalism, and God bless America.

13 years ago at 5:31 am
    1. CJC_Jr

Yeah but the Irish get all sorts of benefits from their higher tax rates, like shitty weather, unattractive people, and a rich history of mass emigration and poverty.

I also feel the same way whenever I leave the West Coast and go somewhere like Ohio or Florida. Yeah all the liberals fuckin suck, but thank God I’m from the best part of this country.

Fuck you, you Chernobyl motherfucker. We all know the South is the best part of our country.

    2. williamfratner916

For cousin-fucking, it sure is. PAC-12 country is by far the most beautiful part of the US, if not the world. There’s a reason why everyone moves out west, and nobody from the west moves back east (or south).

    3. Ron_Bourbondy

Our chapter is older than most states out west. You have no history, the people who colonized the west were the ones who couldn’t make money here.

^^^Well you and all of your liberal bros can enjoy your subpar conference, trashy women, and “hella rad” Hurley shirts.

^^^^ Eat shit you liberal pussy. The South is by far the best to live in. You guys haven’t been shit since 2pac died.

Cute picture, I’m surprised there aren’t two queers on that cliff getting married. Y’all are into that shit, right?

13 years ago at 4:27 pm
    7. williamfratner916

I’m pretty conservative on most issues, but I have no problem if two dudes want to marry. Doesn’t affect my life one bit so who cares?

The western United States is the most beautiful place in the world? Have you left the country? California has the most polluted cities in the country, for one. Second, Australia and New Zealand are much more scenic than anywhere in that liberal shithole.

Ron_Bourbondy shut down this argument in terms of TFM (Disclosure: I’m North). And Broseph_Settles we’re talking about America, buddy.

“PAC-12 country is by far the most beautiful part of the US, if not the world.” Read the fine print, dumbass.

That is a very respectable assumption, but I would have to disagree. Living in Florida gives you the same tanned ladies as your west coast counterparts, while also neighboring some of the rowdiest states in the country. I charge you to defend your bordering states in that regard.

Well a reply button wouldn’t hurt either. I’m gonna go fuck myself a few times since it’s too damn hot for laps
