I wouldn’t care either way, but I do know that the more people who choose to ruin their lives with drug addictions, the fewer people in the population I have to compete with.
Criminalize it and put all those lazy liberal stoners in prison! Make more room in our prisons for the new inmates with an increased use of capital punishment!
It is criminalized you dumb shit. Federal Law overrides State Law. It doesn’t matter if medical weed is legal in Colorado or anywhere else. The Feds can arrest you for possession, distribution, whatever they want. This is an argument that will never end until it is legalized just like alcohol during the prohibition. Now look how socially acceptable alcohol is.
…and then we can keep funneling cash into our private prison industrial system. Great plan, douche. You want to know how much it’s estimated most states could save on prison costs if it was decriminalized? Several hundred million- a few billion per state, depending on size and population. This doesn’t count taxation of it once it is, creating government revenue.
Or, we can waste money throwing teenagers and college kids in jail for trying to relax a bit. Your plan seems better though, obviously. Tools like you make real conservatives look bad. You’re just an authoritarian prick.
While some of you may defend his beliefs and stances, which I don’t care to argue, Ron Paul honestly doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of becoming President. It sucks, but a lot of it is image, and the general public views Ron Paul as too weak of an individual and lacking in gravitas to be seen as a credible leader of our nation. This will enter into peoples’ minds far before they actually consider whether or not they agree with his opinions.
Proposing a bill that legalizes pot, but allows states to decide for themselves. States Rights FaF.
14 years ago at 3:59 pmHe’s a great candidate. I am, from a strict liberty perspective, for the legalization of all drugs.
14 years ago at 4:08 pmyeah that sounds like a great fucking idea, the ability of a people to buy H at 7-11 is a sign of a morally sound country.
14 years ago at 8:45 pmNot needed the government to enforce your morals for you. TFM.
14 years ago at 9:03 pmIt wouldn’t be at 7-11, they’d have their own stores, comparable to liquor stores.
14 years ago at 9:11 pmAll recreational drugs aside, if someone wants to kill themselves on something hard…let them.

14 years ago at 10:10 amI don’t think the public sees him as weak, I think they see him as too radical to be credible.
14 years ago at 4:57 pmProud to call Ron Paul my brother, will not be supporting his candidacy.
14 years ago at 4:53 pmMe and a slam are from his district. She met him and said he was a dick. I asked her what she was doing out of the kitchen.
