Your uncle Barack along with your uncles from the north will be bailing your asses out from a major natural disaster down south…so your welcome. Again.
Nice reply Josh…in other words don’t be trashing on people who may need financial assistance to get a college education. I’m more than willing to mentor and help pay for those who may not have the means to pay for an education, especially when education costs outpace inflation. Our fellow brothers and sisters in the south need our help and their is no shame in receiving that assistance. Maybe your rich dad can take care of it all.
No, IHSFrat1855, that’s not what he’s saying. Just because he wants to pay a little extra for those who can’t afford the ridiculously high cost of tuition, due to our economy being in a shit, does not mean he’s a socialist.
If that’s your idea of socialism, then you obviously need to pay more attention to your own education.
If those who can’t pay for themselves can earn themselves in by merit. If you’re seeking equality, you’re only asking for more government planning.
You can give people a fair shot, but the fact of the matter is that all these opportunities aren’t provided by “Uncle Barack.” They’re provided by our parents. If your parents make any money at all, they send several poor kids through college by paying higher taxes and full tuition (because we’d never be eligible for financial aid.)
Yeah I believe you, a random geed somehow found the reason to talk to you and the only thing he felt like saying was that your dad paid in full for your college! Good thing you had your Obama comeback all warmed up for him though.
Cool, “bro”, you really told him.
At least “Uncle Barack” was able to send him along with many other underprivileged students to college so that our country doesn’t turn out to be as stupid as many think.
Go jump off a building.
Hey “Filthy Rich”, Have you thought about the devaluation of the college diploma? The more people that he finances for college, the less they are worth. At this rate, by 2012 you will have to have a bachelors degree to work at McDonald’s.
Private education (not as it is now, but as it would be in a completely private market) would be cheap and offer an exponentially better service than the current government funded, regulated piece of shit America has now.
Paying for people to go to college based on “need” lets government bureaucrats define what people “need” and what they don’t. This is how the greatest republic on the face of the earth now has sub-par education and degree inflation.
While I understand that this is indeed a TFM, I’m in college on pretty much a full ride, both scholarships and financial aid. I’m completely deserving of it, and having a single parent is something I cannot control. I pay my own dues and went greek so that my children won’t have to experience everything that I have. I look forward to making enough money to put my own children through college along, and paying enough taxes to put someone like myself through.
If we weren’t taxed so much and education was a private institute, there wouldn’t be these ridiculously high tuition rates and “someone like [your]self” would be able to afford college not only through many, many more scholarship offers but also from your single parent’s own salary.
come to think of it, my dad paid for your college too.

14 years ago at 12:22 pmSo your saying you want to give money to people who did not work for it so they have the same oppurtunities as you. That sounds like socialism to me.
