Our vacation home was named after Epicurus, an ancient Greek philosopher, who believed in living the happiest life possible and never dealing with any pain. TFM.
This is the gayest thing I’ve read ion here. For a split second, when I read “vacation home named home after”, I thought it would have been something FaF like Bear Bryant….
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?”
-Epicurus
Kind of contradictory to all of the church-going, Christian b.s. on here.
My folk’s reclusive retiree neighbor’s house is called “The Stag’s Lair,” Epicurus could possibly be a boat but never a house
