As long as you realize the Catholic Church was founded in 33 AD by Jesus Christ and your denomination broke apart from Catholicism. I have no problem with your beliefs though.
Ben Elli you’re right cause that’s in the Bible somewhere. Yes, Protestants broke away from the Roman Catholic Church but there’s nothing saying that was the first church and definitely not the “one true church”. The Bible and Christ simply refer to the his Church, in this sense Church means believers of Christ and not a tangible building or denomination. The Catholics rely on their own, man-written documents and sacred tradition to justify how they’re the original and, many believe, only church. I have no problem with the Catholic faith as a whole, as my fiancée is a wonderful, practicing Catholic, and I enjoy going to Mass with her most of the time. This isn’t directed at you personally, but I don’t enjoy the looks and/or comments I sometimes receive when I’m introduced as a Baptist to others. My fiancée and I are both firm believers in Christ our only difference is the manner in which we worship, so for some Catholics to feel they’re superior in any form of fashion to other denominations is bigotry, ignorance and un-Christian like in all forms. Once again do not take any of this personally because it’s not Catholics as a whole and definitely not you, whom I don’t even know.
You’re not a baptist, unless you don’t drink or gamble. You’re parents may be, but your not. People who claim to be Southern Baptists can be FaF, but anyone who actually is is a Geed.
properlySouthern1890- amen.
Samuel FRATams-praying to a priest. NF. Having a direct line to God. TFM anything with southern in it is FaF
Messy, isn’t it?-A Lot Less Rules???? do explain your thought process behind that. Because I sure don’t get it. Have you ever been to Ireland?
Broby Petrino- you obviously don’t know any southern baptist. We have no problem with drinking or gambling as long as it does not control your life.
Have we really gone as low as to call another Christian religion NF? Grow up. Going to Church TFM. Calling another christian NF because he is Catholic or Protestant, NF at all.
this war has raged for centuries and I am sorry that my beliefs are different from yours. I just don’t believe Catholic and Protestant are the same, but that is what makes America so great, freedom of religion. but making satire of your own sect of christianity leaves it open for free game in my opinion. so how bout you grow up and lighten up while you are at it.
If you don’t sin, Jesus died in vain.
14 years ago at 9:55 amI’m not too sure how that justification will hold up on judgment day.

14 years ago at 11:12 amThis is one of the dumbest TFMs yet, yes everybody sins, but no you’re not supposed to be proud of it.
And we say the lords prayer to wash away our sins, don’t need a priest to do it for us.
