$375 an hour..Wow! Evidently you must be from the South! That is an incredibly cheap rate, real impressive! Here in New England (the rich, educated, superior of any states in the South) our educated lawyers charge almost $ 800-1000 an hour or more. These are lawyers that obtain degrees from colleges in New England, the smartest part of the country. Congrats though, stick to your pathetic excuse for cities and inferior housing market/hospitals/universities, and your Costas.
You sir, are an idiot. The billing rate depends on the type of practice. An insurance attorney in New England won’t charge anywhere near that and a transactional attorney in Atlanta could charge more than that. Get your shit straight. Now go back to ogling those things you New Englanders call women and enjoy your housing market.
wow TheFratMau5, I bet you feel much better about yourself after your condescending comment. My father is a divorce attorney and charges $650 for an hour of consultation, does that make me a poor southerner? fuckin douchenozzle
I noticed that then. I guess I need an ACT chart too, with a score translator. However, I do feel like the inner cities will still drag down the Northeast, and the dirt poor/Florida will bring down the South.
The SAT argument, as someone pointed out, is pretty flawed. For the most part the only people who take the SAT from the midwest are looking to go to top tier schools and thus their scores are way higher.
Either way, arguing North v. South v. Midwest is a total douche move.
no it is not a coincidence that no Ivy League schools are in the South because the Ivy League is only an athletic conference. Don’t get mad because you are too much of an ignorant fuck to realize that Ivy League denotes conference and not necessarily academic rigor or prestige. Is it a coincidence that no SEC schools are in the north? Didn’t think so.
ok Broker, i’ll make sure next time to appease you with a more fitting, less tacky insult. i doubt my comment had any weight on peoples opinion of the south already. i don’t give a damn what people think ever anyway
I have to say, i’m originally from the New England area and currently live in the mid-west, and while the SCHOOLS in New England might be better, the actual PEOPLE there are infinitely more retarded than those around here. So much for “smartest part of the country”.
There’s a lifetime warranty on Costas. You can snap them in two, send them in, and they’ll charge you maybe $40 for a brand new frame. I’d assume even a McDonalds employee can afford that. The fact that you say you’re a lawyer is pretty irrelevant, and you probably work at McDonalds.

14 years ago at 1:13 pmIt appears that higher concentrations of whites, like those found in the midwest and great plains, are the smartest. http://www.commonwealthfoundation.org/policyblog/detail/2010-sat-scores-by-state
14 years ago at 1:15 pmSays someone with a techno reference in their name? Yeah…I’m sooo sure you are an Ivy Leaguer with a promising future.
14 years ago at 1:19 pmIf you are making $800-$1000 an hour, why are you sitting on a computer bothering with TFM? Time = money you GDI

14 years ago at 2:13 pmWhile I support your post, I would refrain from saying douche nozzle. It makes you, and the south look bad. Never again.
14 years ago at 2:15 pmPiker look at the participation rates. Your stats are flawed.
14 years ago at 2:55 pmI noticed that then. I guess I need an ACT chart too, with a score translator. However, I do feel like the inner cities will still drag down the Northeast, and the dirt poor/Florida will bring down the South.

14 years ago at 4:22 pm85% of Harvard’s student body is from out of state and only 16% of Harvard’s Freshman class is from the New England area. 19% are from the South. http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/statistics.html
Southerners also outnumber New Englanders at Princeton University http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/admission_statistics/map.htm

If the Ivy League were more than an athletic conference, Cornell wouldn’t be in it.
