This site should operate like a fraternity. With new members having to rush and receive bids to join. Elections will be held appropriately to determine site administrators from the user-base, or at least in the awarding of special titles, even if they don’t mean anything. (Again, exactly how officer positions work.)
Now, I’ve never been on Reddit, so I can’t vouche for any similarities. But I do know that ESPN, BleacherReport, and a whole mess of other sites use similar systems. I guess my question, #friend, is what is your point?
Also, I love how this site constantly chastises any use of Reddit, but straight up copied their upvote system.
