Headed out to the bars with the ashes from church still on my forehead. TFM.

Church is capitalized when talking about the universal Church as an organization. Church is not capitalized when talking about the place you go to worship.

Indeed your statement is true; however, he made a direct reference to the Catholic Church (i.e., Ash Wednesday), therefore it would be capitalized in this instance.

Methodists also observe Ash Wednesday services; therefore, it is not necessary to capitalize church this time.

Mormons don’t drink, smoke, or even drink caffeine. They can’t be frat in any way.

The ability to smoke probably isn’t such a big deal when you have fifteen wives who have no desire except to make babies and sandwiches.

Why are Catholics trying to act like their branch of Christianity is superior to all others? There’s nothing wrong with being catholic, but it has, by far, the largest history of corruption out of any denomination of any religion in the world. The Catholic Church used to sell indulgences to “save” people from purgatory. The rosaries Catholics love so much tend to have 53 “hail mary’s” and only 6 “our fathers,” worshipping the vessel God used more than God himself. The Vatican even recently changed The Bible. So, Catholics, quit pretending you’re better than others for having an older religion. The reason others branched off is because of the enormous flaws there are in Catholicism.

Catholics do not pray to Mary. We ask for Mary’s assistance in heaven to aid our prayers to God.

Maybe it’s because the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ, true God and true man, and not by some joker who decided to start his own “church.” Sure the Church has made its share of mistakes over the years, but that’s because humans aren’t perfect. At the end of the day, the Church was founded by God incarnate, making Catholicism the most legitimate faith.

I’ve never seen a Catholic that claims the world is 4000 years old.

My catholic schools dress code from day one was khakis and an oxford shirt, while you were going to your public school in sweats.

Why don’t all of you who love Catholicism move to europe and practice it with those liberal gdis. I on the other hand will continue to live in America being a proud WASP just like the majority of our Founding Fathers were.

The Founding Fathers where not “WASP”, they where Deist. A belief that did not recognize the need for organized religion. Not knowing your American history=NF

Jim Brow Law you might want to check your history, 88 anglican, 30 Presbyterian, 27 Congretionalist. So the overwhelming majority of our founding father were in fact White, Anglo Saxon, and Protestant. I stand by my statement.
