Getting drafted in the 7th round of the MLB draft and turning down $400,000 to experience Greek Life in the SEC. TFM.

Personally, I take the 400 grand, but as long as you stay healthy there’s no reason you can’t go pro after college. I can’t really fault the move too much, and cannot deny that it’s pretty hardcore to choose raging like a champ over even pro ball.

Take the money now when it is a sure thing and do not risk any injuries. If baseball doesn’t work out go back to college paid for by the major league team. Seems like a no brainer to me

Maybe he is from Florida and will be going to another SEC school? Thats the only explanation I can think of… I know, I know women can’t think..

That article said “Current Players” and I can guarantee that he is going to be an incoming Freshman..

So if what your saying is true and he is an incoming freshman, he is not even a pledge yet. No way he can be pulling TFM’s. GET TO THE HAZEMENT!

Once you said you got 400 grand, I decided to look into this claim, because there is no team dropping that kind of money on signing a 7th round pick. And, not surprising, none of the high school kids drafted in the 7th round had committed to a school in the SEC. Keep up the good work though.

Actually, my friend got offered 1.8M 7th rd by KC 3 years ago and turned it down for the SEC. Went 2nd round this year.

Are you talking about Archie Bradley? Because he was drafted by the Diamondbacks, but going to Oklahoma. Oklahoma isn’t the SEC.
