Stick to spouting off about vodka pumpkin. Bookers is most definitely a special occasion bourbon, it is one step above Basil Hayden’s and only slightly lower than Pappy and the other long aged bourbons. Woodford is a great mixing liquor, of the same sort as Buffalo Trace and Knob Creek… but in no way is it a higher class of Whiskey
InFratdel, all bourbon should be enjoyed like it’s supposed to be, straight. But I would have to agree that Booker’s is a high proof higher-line bourbon as opposed to Woodford which is a well rounded any-occasion bourbon and a personal favorite. I might be biased though, I am from Woodford County where it is made.
I bought a bottle of this for my uncle for Christmas and it is pretty damn good. It’s bottled straight from the barrel and has a proof somewhere in the 120s.
