Video: Police Pilot Ditches Helicopter, Tackles Suspect On Foot

I’ve seen lots of wild shit go down in police chase videos, but this one’s a first.

The footage opens with Houston police helicopters and cruisers closing in on a suspect running through an open field. One police SUV trucked the suspect, throwing him to the ground. But the suspect managed to get up and continue to limp-run away. That’s when the chopper pilot decided to take matters into his own hands. He ditched his chopper and sprinted full speed at the staggering suspect.
