Mark Cuban was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime on Friday, and he seized it. He jumped on the chance to give Skip Bayless a verbal knockout punch, a dream many people share. You know Skip Bayless. He’s basically the sporting world antagonist, a weasely shit with a pompous demeanor and pessimistic outlook on everything.

Ole Skip set himself up for this one. He’s been outspoken about LeBron’s shortcomings for years, mainly harping on James’ seemingly mental ineptitude. After predictions that LeBron would never win an NBA title, he’s had a rough Friday. And Cuban does the equivalent of picking up the school bully by his collar and holding him up against the lockers while shouting obscenities at him in retaliation, in middle school terms of course. Cuban challenges Bayless’ conjectural nature of his criticism, not just directed at LeBron, but sports figures in general.
