UPDATE: Ted Cruz Staffer Forced To Resign After Spreading False Video About Marco Rubio

Updated on February 22, 4:20 p.m.

Rick Tyler, Ted Cruz’s communications director, has been forced to resign after spreading the false video depicting Marco Rubio trashing the Bible.

From CNN:

Cruz says he spent the morning investigating what happened before making his decision. Campaign manager Jeff Roe confirmed that Tyler had formally resigned.

Not a good look for the Cruz campaign. This is coming on the heels of Donald Trump calling out Cruz for being a liar. Maybe this will be the downfall of Cruz.

After months of being bullied by Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio has his targets and he is firing back. The victims of Rubio’s wrath are none other than Christian Collins, a young staffer on Ted Cruz’s campaign, and Rafael Cruz, Ted’s 76-year-old father. Just the kind of prime, high-level personnel that Rubio should be focused on.

A video captured by the staff at The Daily Pennsylvania caught the intense altercation in vivid detail.

“Got a good book there,” Rubio says to Collins, referring to the book in front of him. “Not many answers in it, especially that one,” Rubio says while walking away.

Really Marco? Do you actually derive some sort of pleasure from picking on elderly men and young staffers who are barely old enough to grow facial hair? Unfortunately, it is unknown what book Collins actually had on him that warranted such an uncalled for attack, but nonetheless, this is not a fantastic look for Mr. Rubio. I feel as though Marco was the type of kid in high school who would have no problem harassing a slightly overweight freshman girl only to then throw a hissy fit whenever someone brought up the fact that his ears were comparable to those of a small elephant.

From this recent development in the constantly entertaining GOP primary, it appears as though Rubio has made the ever so important decision to differentiate himself from the rest of the field by critiquing the literature read by the young workers of his opponents. Time will only tell how this bold and unorthodox move plays out for the Floridian.

The way you write reminds me of the way I hear a person talk to me right before i decide that i hate that person.
