Here’s the problem with Virginia Tech: the so-called “top-tier” fraternities think it’s still acceptable to act and dress like GDIs. The greek system here is flat out awful because too many kids from the North come to our school and ruin everything.
Therefore, I made the decision to pledge OX because it is was what a southern fraternity should be: frattabbing, day drinking, treating women like southern gentlemen are supposed to and being a general menace to society. Sure, we’re not the “best” by Virginia Tech’s standards but that’s irrelevant because those standards are being made by kids who thinks it cool to wear hoodies and cargo shorts.
EX, SigEp, Fiji, Beta, PhiDelt aren’t fratty enough for you?
I mean, at every school it’s the girls who decide which fraternities are top tier, although I’ll certainly acknowledge that some of the fraternities that consider themselves “top-tier” are full of raging GDIs in cargos (I’m looking at you, Pike). Overall, yes, the greek system at VT blows dick. Here’s to those of us smart enough to transfer out.
