Thought it up myself. I realize that extremists are the issue, but I still think that when there wasn’t formerly a mosque, to build one in that area is kind of an off-putting gesture. I just think it would be just as well located elsewhere rather than a place that was destroyed and thosuands of innocent people were killed in the name of Islam. Whether they were extremeists or not, it sends an uncomfortable message to me. Are we building churches in Afghanistan? No. Because it would send the wrong message to the population.

your claim that water boarding is considered torture is incorrect. I believe the term you are looking for is enhanced interrogation technique. Take a stroll through Tehran, i think you’ll find they dont waste their time with such things as water boarding. Takes too long.
