WATCH: Michigan State Football Commit Body Slams High School Security Guard, Absolutely DESTROYS Him
The original video was taken down, but we found a new one from Facebook. It’s a closer angle, but doesn’t quite have the same impact effect that the last one did.
Let me preface this video with “holy fucking fuck.”
I watched that video and basically spit my sip of tea whiskey all over my desk. I was NOT expecting that. Michigan State commit Jayru Campbell basically just performed a Mortal Kombat finishing move on a rent-a-cop. Jayru sort of sounds like a Mortal Kombat character too, so it fits.
The video is really all you need to see, but if you want the boring, non-breathtakingly violent details, the Detroit Free Press has you covered.
The quarterback of the Detroit Cass Tech High School football team has been arrested in connection with an attack on a security guard.
Jayru Campbell was arrested Wednesday by the Detroit Public Schools Police Department because of an incident that occurred inside Cass Tech at dismissal time. But in a departure from earlier DPS statements, district spokeswoman Michelle Zdrodowski said this afternoon that Campbell has not been charged, describing the earlier statements as a misunderstanding on the district’s part.
…
The security guard was treated at a clinic Wednesday and then went home, he said. It’s unclear whether he was injured. He works for Securitas, Wasko said, a firm that contracts with DPS to provide security services at schools.
Yeah, no, he was injured, at least a little. I would say the guard’s pride was bruised as well, but that’s a gross understatement. That guard’s pride was decapitated, dragged through the streets, hung up on a wire, and pelted with rotting fruit and feces before being buried upside down in a mass grave for prostitutes and thieves. Just really medieval stuff.
There’s no word if the junior quarterback, who is a 4-star recruit on Rivals and turned down offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin to verbally commit to Michigan State, will be officially charged, allowed to keep playing, or anything else. This was the second time Campbell has gotten in trouble for lashing out violently. After a loss to Detroit Catholic in the state semifinals Campbell threw a punch at an opposing player. For that he was suspended from school and the first game of the 2014 season.
According to witnesses, they were shocked not only by the attack but also by the fact that at no point during the filming of it did anyone shout “World Star.”
