Rory McIlory hit his second shot on the par 5 No. 8 into the water and did exactly what all of us want to do after a bad shot: launch our fucking club as far away as humanly possible.
Love Rory. I’m sure he’ll get torn apart by all the golf traditionalists for losing his cool, but I’m in favor of more reactions like this. Nothing wrong with wearing your heart on your sleeve.
He eventually made bogey on the hole and currently sits at even par through 15, 10 strokes behind the leader in the second round..
