USA beating Canada at their own sport. TFM.

  1. Ed Rooney

Boston, Massachusetts is the greatest professional sports city in the world. Yet, I would trade in all of the other 6 championships in this past decade for this one….because it is the sweetest of them all. THE STANLEY CUP….THE ONLY TROPHY YOU COULD CRUSH A BEER OUT OF. Also i can’t wait for all you southern hicks to respond to this cause all you have to watch is the college baseball world series (which nobody gives a shit about). Football and Hockey are the only sports that matter.

The canadian Canucks were blackballed the past two seasons by the Blackhawks, an Original Six NHL team, and this year the tradition was carried on by another Original Six team, Boston. Two of the Original Six blackballing a Canadian team, FaF. Elitism, FaF.

The hawks should have beat them. That would have been 3 straight. At least both teams shat on luongo a few games

yeah, they probably should have, but they’ll be better next year. the Canucks, however, are a different story.

17 out of 25 players on Boston will be taking the cup home to Canada for a week. 3 Americans will be. Hard to justify ‘USA beating Canada at their own sport.’

thats the usual argument, but which fans are happy (the Americans) and which fans are have a big temper tantrum like pissed off 3 year olds (the canadians)

Not necessarily. Boston is an original six, which automatically makes you better than all the other teams.

I don’t care if you enjoy hockey or not. This is FaF. As capitalist you have to enjoy this. Regardless of whether the players are Canadian or American, America bought them at a higher price and they are playing under an American flag and just won the Stanley Cup bringing it back to the USA for the sixth year in a row. TFM. Fuck Canada, fucking socialists.

Yeah man you’re pretty stupid. First of all find out how the NHL works… American teams don’t buy out players bro. The wealthiest NHL teams ARE Canadian. We should all love America, that doesn’t mean we have to sound like ignorant retards when it comes to other countries. Socialist? Haha wow.

I was definitely being sarcastic about the socialist comment, you dumb fucks. 7 out of the 10 most valuable hockey teams are American. That means America uses more money to get more talented players (Crosby, Ovechkin, Lecavalier, Stamkos, Datsuk, Chara, Hossa) and coaches with an end result of beating those pussies in Canada and having the cup in America for so long.

The NHL actually has a salary cap to prevent teams buying players at higher prices regardless of a city, or owners, economic stance. I also wouldn’t call Canada socialist, considering they did just vote in a majority Conservative government. And if you mean that the GM bought the players at a higher price, you are probably referring to Boston’s Canadian GM. Frat on.
