First of all none of us were over there with him to argue whether this is true or not. So unless you were in Iraq between 2006 and 2007 kicking in doors next to this gentleman I would advise you to shut up and thank the man who is actually brave enough to protect you and the country you live in. Thank you for all that you do and stay safe sir!
I have been twice with the 82nd ABN DIV, as a medic, and now I am an Officer about to deploy in January. I have called many people out on this site talking about “I did this when I was over there” None could ever come close to proving their story. WKU, has the best… now.. about wearing all the approved safety equipment, I would agree “you dont have to wear all that crap”, but could maybe agree with the SF they are way more lax on what you can wear. WKU.. what was your MOS?
19D, headed to 13A in January. More info is in the response I had the first time you asked. Also, how did you have time for two active duty deployments, 4 (atleast) years of college, and BOLC. Are you just really, really old? Not calling you out…just curious
Leave it to an officer to hold down the enlisted man. Let me guess, you read that in a book somewhere to? You’re the guy that tells a MSG how to run an “L” shaped ambush and tells us we should have target reference points every 2 seconds. You’re the reason why I stopped ROTC and laughed at OCS. Here’s to you being the future douche BC that makes me wear my knee pads and elbow pads and taking away my ROE, Sir! 11 Bang Bang out.
I came in with my degree. Enlisted as a medic…did basic, ait, then deployed for 15 months, came back, then deployd 11 months later for 6 months (left early) to go to OCS, BOLC, now I am at my first unit as an Officer. I am 29(almost 30), came in when I was 25. I was with a cavalary unit (3-73 CAV), so I am very familiar with 19D.. haha that sucks you got FA unless you wanted. I got 91A (OD), which is not even on my “wishlist”, but the army has its own plans. Let me tel you, if you dont already know FT Sill is a shithole! lol so that 6 months you have school you will not enjoy unless you go to norman or stillwater… ps.. I am not FAF or frat lol. I got turned on to this site by a fellow 91A, I played baseball in College, did a couple year as a staff accountant and then joined my two brothers who are in the military, and love every minute of it.
We are deploying in January, its a wasted deployment if you ask me, would rather go to Afghan, but I am in an ADA unit… WKU if you want to talk offline you can email me airborne.medic23@hotmail.com

14 years ago at 7:41 amJust got a new pair of Wayfarers so I can do the same thing in a couple of days. Not kicking in doors, per se, but hazing terrorists nevertheless.
