What’s This Deal With This Blindfolded, Naked Girl Hanging Out On The Texas State Campus?

Someone at Texas State has something to say, and she’s taking her clothes off to do it. I received the below tip and pictures this morning.

Since y’all like to report about the weird shit that goes on at Texas State, you might want to hear this. There’s currently a naked lady sitting on our library steps. And she’s blindfolded. Word is that she’s recording everyone’s reactions as well.

Now I get that everyone gets a little crazy at the end of the semester, but this might be taking it a little too far…

According to another source, the police let her go on account of her First Amendment rights. Oh, and her nips are apparently taped.

It could be that the stress from finals has caused her to go completely off the deep end, but I can’t imagine that kind of stress, no matter how bad it might be, would cause you to blindfold yourself, take your top off, put on your ’90s style headphones, and sit out in a very active part of campus. This isn’t stress. This is what crazy looks like.

I get that she has a statement to make — and our awesome country gives her the right to make it publicly. On one hand, she’s definitely getting some attention. People hear “titties out in the quad,” and everyone comes running. Her plan is working. And here I am taking it national.

On the other hand, though, isn’t her message pretty much lost on account of the bizarre public spectacle? It’s unclear what message she’s trying to convey here, and it could actually be something great, or something that needs attention. Maybe two-month-old golden retriever puppies are being slaughtered for their coats in some seedy corner of the world and this girl is the only one who knows about it, so this is her attempt to let the people know. Who knows.

The problem is no one is going to focus on the puppies, because, you know, she blindfolded herself and let the girls out on the steps of the Texas State library.

    she was trying to raise awareness through art about rape culture and how we no longer view naked bodies as beautiful but sex toys so way to prove her point and not even bother to reach out to the student.

    I love how the article mentions the “stress of finals”…. But yet doesn’t even consider the fact that this COULD be for A FINAL….it even says she was filming reactions. And all these comments about “daddy issues”. Really? FYI: it was for her final art project. Not because she’s “crazy”. Close minded assholes.

    She is conducting a social experiment. In other places people have given her clothes. Most of the time people throw things at her or write on her. She wants to see what people do and say when she has a blindfold and earmuffs
