Windy Knoll Golf Club Will Soon Offer Hovercraft Carts

Bubba has started a new golf cart craze, it seems. The Windy Knoll Golf Club, which is located in Ohio, is slowly replacing their fleet of low tech wheeled golf carts with a new one of golf hovercraft (hovercarts?). This is both awesome, and sensible, if you really consider it. Golf carts run all over the course, in one way or another, so it’s less ground maintenance when you only have the carts hovering over everything. Plus, you get to feel infinitely cooler than you might actually be, for the simple reason that you’re gliding over the course in one of the more awesome things mankind has invented.

Perhaps this is simply a club cashing in on something trendy to make money (of course it is, they’re over 200 to rent, per player) but it could actually turn out to be both a smart business decision and a smart course management decision if the impact on the course itself turns out to be a net positive. No word on if you’ll be able to chase down other teams of golfers in what amounts to a game of bumper-hovercrafts, or whether they’ll come equipped with nets to help you fish your ball out of the water hazards from the comfort of your hovering cart.

It’s certainly gimmicky, but as long as it doesn’t inspire a Caddyshack reboot with hovercraft, and worse comedians, I think the world will survive.

Personally, I prefer a more traditional golf cart because it hurts more when I RUN OVER MY FUCKING PLEDGES HEADS BEFORE I REVERSE AND DO IT AGAIN! HOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE TIRES ON YOUR FACE YOU CUM GARGLING PUBE CHEWING HAIRY NIPPLE FONDLING ACCIDENT! IF I COULD GO BACK TO THE DAY YOU WERE CONCIEVED I WOULD LITERALLY RIP YOUR FATHER’S DICK OFF BEFORE HE FINISHED IN YOUR MOTHER!

I will pay for a round just so I can hover on the water and try to jump it over bunkers.
