Woman Receives Credit Card Offer Addressed To “Lisa Is A Slut McIntire”

I feel like half the stuff I get in the mail these days is absolute trash. It’s mostly promotional garbage for stores I’ll never go to. Seriously, Bed Bath & Beyond, you guys need to chill out. I already have three towels. I’m good. Though the ratio of useless crap to actual stuff I care about in the mail is pretty insulting, I’m just glad I’ve never gotten anything that was literally insulting to me in the mail. One woman in California recently did, and as you’d assume, hilarity ensued.

Lisa McIntire woke up to a day that seemed as though it would be just like any other. She went to work, ate lunch, and did all the normal things that she does, but when she got home in the afternoon, she was met with a surprise. She opened her mailbox, pulled out the various letters, and began shuffling through them and seeing who they were from.

“Bill…bill…wedding invitation…magazine subscription…McDonald’s coupons…credit card offer.” There was nothing really unusual about the mail at first. Then, after a closer look, Lisa realized something was wrong. The credit card offer, a Visa from Bank of America, was addressed to “Lisa Is A Slut McIntire.”

As you’d expect, Lisa was a little pissed. Someone just called her a slut. Actually, one of the largest financial institutions in the world, Bank of America, just called her a slut. Naturally, she wanted to get to the bottom of the situation. She figured someone doing the data entry for Bank of America did it, which is a pretty good possibility. She tweeted about it, got Bank of America to apologize, and all was well. Personally, I don’t think the story ends here, though.

See, I don’t think this was a random prank. I think there’s something deeper here. We need to do some research. Who would want to call Lisa McIntire a slut? Does she know anyone doing data entry for Bank of America? Maybe that guy she dumped in 11th grade is working there and is still bitter. Who knows? The answers are there, people. It’s just a question of whether they’ll ever be found.
