‘Workaholics’ Star Adam DeVine Is Having A Blast At The University Of Nebraska
There’s not much that actor Adam DeVine can’t do. He’s on “Workaholics,” one of TV’s funniest shows. He’s got golden pipes as displayed in “Pitch Perfect” (Yeah, I watched it and liked it. So what?!). Now, he’s adding punt returns to his résumé… kinda.
DeVine is a HUGE Cornhuskers fan and decided to take a tour of Nebraska’s football stadium on Friday. And, from the looks of it, he had himself an absolute blast.
Awesome bumping into the star of one of my favorite shows in the locker room! #workaholics @ADAMDEVINE pic.twitter.com/kJkAlWtQhY

The dude is living his absolute dream right now. Very Will Ferrell-esque of him too. The best part of this, though, is the reminder that Bo Pelini’s dopey-looking face isn’t in Lincoln anymore.
DeVine also tried his hand at returning a punt, and let’s just say I’d pay good money to watch him return one in an actual college football game.
Not bad @ADAMDEVINE. Not bad.
We need to work on your TD spike though…#GBR pic.twitter.com/KwlKj9bloA

Running like that with Joey Bosa-sized dudes traveling full speed the other way? That’s what football is all about.
Surprisingly, DeVine isn’t even a University of Nebraska alumnus. He moved to Nebraska from Waterloo, Iowa as a kid and then later attended Orange Coast College in California. He explained his hardcore Huskers fandom in a hilarious editorial that appeared in Rolling Stone (before it was complete shit and published horrifically inaccurate fairytales).
I had only been living in Omaha a few months when we won the first of many championships in the ’90s. I can remember the moment so vividly. After the win my newly acquired friends and I all piled into my mom’s minivan and went to downtown Omaha. It was a riot, but instead of setting things on fire and turning over cars (which happens in my new hometown of Los Angeles whenever a team wins a championship), people were dancing in the streets, college girls were flashing elementary school kids and everyone was drinking. My mother was clueless that my friends and I stole three Miller High Lifes from the cooler before we left the house. I was ‘drunk,’ I saw breasts and my new team were national champs…I was a fan.
If that isn’t college recruiting at its finest then I don’t know what is..
I don’t shit at night where in the fuck is fail Friday
