Arizona Kid Tweets About Killing Roommates, Proceeds To Kill His Roommate

Early Saturday morning, at around 12:33 a.m., 21-year-old Zachary Penton, seemingly fed up with his roommates, tweeted out the following.

Fast forward to Sunday, when police received a call from one Zachary Penton who was calling to say that he shot his roommate, 41-year-old Daniel Garofalo. According to ABC 15, Garofalo was pronounced dead at the scene and Penton was taken into custody.

Penton has been arrested and was booked into Maricopa County Jail on murder charges.

Police are still investigating what exactly happened the moments before the shooting.

Hooolly shit, man. Sit down and have a conversation with your roommates one time, Zac. Air out those frustrations so you don’t, you know, murder them. Or move out. Either one woulda done the trick here. Given that the reasoning for his original tweet was due to his roommates fighting over getting stung by a bee, I would assume that some sort of verbal debate occurred and Zach flipped and did something he’s going to regret for the next 25 years of his life in prison.

Life lesson learned here for all you college kids out there: you probably should follow your roommates on all social media just to make sure they aren’t thinking about killing you..
