4,400 Beers Seized From Student Apartment
A few students from our neighboring country to the north got the big idea to host a St. Patrick’s Day party and sell cold beers out of their apartment. Without proper licensing, selling alcohol is, of course, illegal. Waterloo, Ontario, law enforcement was tipped off that the students had plans to distribute the beers when word began to spread through social media.
From CP 24:
Investigators allege an unofficial student group was planning to sell the brews during a St. Patrick’s Day party, but didn’t get a permit.
They say the group was allegedly selling tickets for the event through social media.
Police say charges related to alleged illegal sale of alcohol will be laid under Ontario’s Liquor Licence Act.
Policed seized 4,400 beers from the apartment.
“They took the bar! The whole fucking bar!”

11 years ago at 6:31 pmJust want to add, all the money they would have gotten goes straight to charity. I believe they raised over 10 000$ last year doing this for local charities.
