I really think this needs to be taken down. I am all for supporting our vets, and am beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for us, but this is just shameful. That man was never a member of the USMC. To dress in full garb and turn what would otherwise be a truly great american moment into a sham disgusts me in every way imaginable

False, he served for four years in the 80’s just not long enough to be considered retired. Honorably discharged by the USMC and given special approval to wear his blues for the occasion of singing god bless america

Ya’ll are retarded. ^ he wasn’t honorably discharged, his 4 year enlistment was up. He isn’t required “special approval” to wear his dress blues, as he wasn’t wearing his medals. He was wearing his ribbons, or should I say ribbon. (for those unfamiliar with the military, having one ribbon means he was a reservist POG boot fuck.)
