Alabama And Auburn Couple Celebrate Valentine’s Day In Most Alabama Way Possible

Speaking as a northerner, there are a number of appealing and unique aspects that I see when I view southern culture: SEC football, southern hospitality, traditional values, and a seemingly infinite amount of quality whiskey and bourbon. One area that you appear to be lacking, however, is in the romance department, as displayed by Meagan Nicole Jordan and her boyfriend.
This past weekend, the couple decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a way that is bound to hit you right in the feels: by exchanging promise rings in front of a Walmart jewelry display. The, for lack of a better word, incident took place at a Walmart in Saraland, Alabama — a suburb of Mobile.
This couple was engaged tonight at the Wal-Mart in Saraland, Alabama at about 9 p.m. tonight. Please share so they can have their pictures, I was with my mother at the time! Did not catch their names!

To add to the strangeness of this couple, the photographs provided by bustedcoverage.com give clear evidence that the two are split in terms of their state of Alabama football allegiances — Jordan supporting the Tigers of Auburn, while her boyfriend proudly wears the crimson and ivory of the University of Alabama.
Imagine the stories that they will have to tell their kids down the line.
“Mommy and I exchanged promises rings at a Walmart on Valentine’s Day, went home, made some sweet love on the futon and that’s how you came about. However, we are now in the process of getting a divorce because I told her I value my autographed picture of Nick Saban more than my relationship with her parents.”
We can only hope that the rest of Alabama isn’t as hopelessly lost when it comes to love as these two appear to be..
So frat
10 years ago at 4:33 pmShit like this makes me wish I wasn’t from Alabama.
10 years ago at 4:47 pmLife in general should make you wish you weren’t from Alabama
10 years ago at 6:06 pmHey the university is fine. But that might be because we import non hicks from out of state.

10 years ago at 4:47 pmHow is this news? Everyone knows that Walmart, Denny’s, and the Sprint store are the top places to get engaged in Alabama.
10 years ago at 5:04 pmDon’t forget the Waffle House
10 years ago at 5:47 pmNope. Not that.
10 years ago at 5:50 pmIt’s Denny’s. It’s always been Denny’s, not the Waffle House. Tin Cup goes to the Waffle House, Waffle House = TFM.
10 years ago at 8:41 pmFiguring out that they’re cousins?
10 years ago at 5:05 pmThose kids are going to be ugly as sin.

10 years ago at 8:10 pmI know thinking youre better than other people is wrong. But what about the times when you know it?
10 years ago at 7:06 pmDo you T shirt fan take you sidewalk alumni to be your lawfully wedded future scooter driver inside the Walmarts? Yes, good, the reception is at Target, bc Target is fancy Walmart.
10 years ago at 7:36 pmThey could have spent the day with their parents
10 years ago at 8:08 pmLooking at this picture, my reactions are:
1. It probably made her day to receive those roses.
2. They will probably have a long and enjoyable life together.
I just wish them the best. Guess you can lap me if you disagree.
10 years ago at 8:22 pmCouldn’t agree more. We make fun of trashy people doing trashy things because of the negative outcome it has on someone else. This scenario is purely positive and yes trashy but not harmful.
