This Girl Who Lost Her Prosthetic Hand While Getting Wasted Needs To Suck It Up

Amelia Welch is a 20-year-old college girl like the rest of ’em — she likes to go out and have a good time. The only difference is that her right hand is prosthetic. Nothing wrong with that, until you lose it while partying your face off at some university ball.

During the evening, Amelia got a little out of control and lost her hand at some point during the party. She now wants it back and is offering a reward of up to £100 British pounds, or around $143 USD, for the return of her hand.

Miss Welch, from Axminster, said: ‘I don’t know at what point I lost it, but I didn’t have it the next day.

‘I think I went to the toilet, took it off, probably left it and didn’t realise.’

You know what, Amelia? I don’t feel sorry for you at all. Oh no, you lost your damn fake hand because you took it off and left it in the bathroom? Boo hoo. You know what? That’s your own damn fault for losing it and, to be honest, you still have a full, five-fingered, left hand.

It’s been documented on this site before that I was born with two toes and two fingers on each hand and foot. Did I go out and get a fucking prosthetic hand? Nah, I just crushed life as is because that’s what winners do. We accept our mistakes and move on.

So either pay for the damn replacement yourself or sack up, Amelia..
