A Squad Of 50 Combative High Schoolers Rolled Up On Troy Delta Chi, Threw Hands, Sent Brothers To Hospital

Police are trying to identify approximately 50 hostile Troy high school students who showed up to the Delta Chi house on April 2nd and jumped several fraternity members who would not allow the brash punks into their back patio to play basketball. After the groups chirped back and forth at one another around 2 a.m., the small battalion of letterman jackets escalated the confrontation into violence and attacked the outnumbered band of Delta Chis.

Several brothers suffered minor facial and bodily injuries. Some sported bruises on their faces, and others had their shirts ripped or covered in blood. One stumbled around while trying to cover what appeared to be a nosebleed.

A few brothers, Taylor said, also had to be taken to Troy Regional Medical Center for some cuts, but no one had to stay overnight for severe injuries.

Honestly, you have to chalk this up as a missed opportunity by Delta Chi to dirty rush some quality blue chip prospects for the fall semester. A massive 50 man squad of cocky assholes that just want to ball at 2 in the morning? You’re pretty much top tier overnight if you can lock down even half these kids come August. At the very least, you’re putting yourself in the conversation for several Intramural championship t-shirts and potentially even an overall Greek Cup or four. When that type of fortune comes knocking on the door, you have to swing that bitch wide open.

Throwing down with these turds is just not the move. It’s a lose-lose situation any way you spin it. You’re either the fraternity that pummeled some pimply-faced, bama-bang high schoolers into the ground — which isn’t the ideal rap you want floating around campus — or end up getting crumpled by that gang of pimply-faced, bama-bang high schoolers. And I’m not sure you can ever recover from the latter. Tough break for Troy Delta Chi..
